PortAventura World at Christmas: a World Full of Excitement  

During the Christmas season, which this year runs from 22 November to 6 January, PortAventura World dresses up for the occasion. The park's themed worlds are completely transformed: Mediterrània is covered in Christmas lights and music, Polynesia is decorated with tropical garlands, and Far West revives Christmas in true cowboy style.  

As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by Mediterrània's grand Christmas tree, lit up with thousands of lights and accompanied by the sound of carols. Visitors can enjoy traditional sweets, hot chocolate and unique decorations, creating an atmosphere that both children and adults will love. The park's most beloved characters, such as Woody, Winnie and the endearing characters from Sesame Street, dress up in Christmas costumes and star in shows and parades that fill each day with joy.  

Christmas Shows You Can't Miss 

One of the great attractions of this season are the Christmas shows, specially designed to celebrate the magic of this time of year. The combination of music, dance, theatre, lights and special effects makes each show an unforgettable experience. 

Christmas News  

This year, PortAventura World present the staging its ‘Christmas Parade’, a night-time parade with illuminated floats, classic characters and a soundtrack that will thrill the entire audience. The parade ends in Mediterrània with the arrival of the royal emissaries and a spectacular light and fireworks display.  

As a new feature, PortAventura World is premiering the ‘Christmas Circus’, a family show at the Gran Teatro Imperial where, in a small village lit up for Christmas, a young girl dreams of becoming an artist. Choreography, humour and dazzling visual effects make this show one of the season's must-see events.  

The Classics that Return Every Christmas  

Christmas at PortAventura would not be the same without its classic shows, such as ‘It's Christmas at SésamoAventura’, where the little ones can celebrate Christmas with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie and company. There is also ‘Bubble Magic Christmas’ in the Magic Temple of China, a family show that combines science, bubbles and magic. And ‘Christmas Time’ at the Long Branch Saloon in Far West, a show full of humour, country songs and festive spirit. 

Unique Winter Experiences  

Beyond the shows, Christmas at PortAventura offers activities that you won't find at any other time of year. One of the most popular is the Enchanted Forest, a magical journey where children can greet Santa Claus and meet his elves.
