BusPlana transports 24% more passengers to Camp de Tarragona station

• From January to October, 417,257 people travelled on the five lines connecting to the high-speed station.
• This is the result of improved service, with more frequencies, more information and a significant increase in costumer service.
• The Plana Group transports 20 million people every year and is the leading road passenger transport in the province of Tarragona.

Every day, more and more people are taking the bus to the Camp de Tarragona high-speed station. The BusPlana lines connecting to this station with Tarragona, Reus, the coast and Valls have carried 417,257 passengers from January to October this year, 24% more than in the same period last year.

In 2025, BusPlana expects the number of people travelling by bus to Camp de Tarragona station to exceed half a million passengers, thus promoting public transport access to the high-speed station for citizens.

Currently, BusPlana has five routes connecting to Camp de Tarragona station. From Tarragona, there is the Tarragona-Estación del Camp route. From Reus, the Reus-Estación del Camp route. From the coast, the La Pineda-Salou-Estación del Camp line and the Cambrils-Salou-PortAventura-Estación del Camp line. And from inland, the Valls-Estación del Camp line.

BusPlana attributes its growth to three key factors:

One is the reliability of the service: punctuality, regularity and a comfortable travel experience.

The second is improved customer service, which allows for faster responses and instant resolution of queries via WhatsApp, phone calls, emails and social media.

And thirdly, greater public awareness of the routes, thanks to active promotion through different media and communication channels.
