Hiking routes at Costa Dorada for Easter holidays

After having been working non-stop for several weeks, Easter arrives with a great opportunity to escape to do a hiking route in the wonderful Costa Dorada

It's time to disconnect and there is no better place to do it than in nature, that's why in this article we recommend some outdoor routes for this Easter without having to go far away and of course, you can reach them with BusPlana.

      1. Routes with history in Tarragona

Tarragona has an ancient network of roads made up of cart tracks, horse trails, footpaths, and more less ancient roads. We encourage you to walk along them or even cycle along them, thus discovering the history of the municipality.

The route has a total length of 34 km with signposting, running from the river Francolí to the river Gayá, with the possibility of returning along the coast.

On this route you will be able to see and cross medieval farmhouses, modernist domes, Roman aqueducts, defence towers and much more.

You will be able to access this municipality with BusPlana, being connected to Barcelona, Vilaseca, La Pineda, Salou, Cambrils, Valls, etc.

      2. Ecotourism route in Cambrils

Cambrils is another great destination to visit during Easter. It is a network of routes perfect for lovers of tourism on foot or by bicycle, where you can discover the natural and cultural values of Cambrils.

This route has a length of more than 20 km of bike lane, and you can start it from many places, such as the Paseo de las Palmeras, and follow different routes along the Costa Dorada.

Among its best-known routes, there is the Samà Legacy, starting at the Centenary Fountain, going up the Alforja stream until reaching the rural environment and leaving the coastal area behind, with a route of just over 13 kilometres.

      3.  Hospitalet del Infante

Here you can do several walking routes where you will not miss the beach or the mountains. There is a wide variety of paths that cross Hospitalet del Infante and the Llors Valley.

As if that wasn't enough, you can also enjoy a via ferrata with a guide.

You can check all our bus routes and schedules at www.empresaplana.cat/en

      4.  Mont-Roig del Camp

In this area you can cross the route of the dry-stone huts. The difficulty of this route is low, so you can enjoy this experience with the whole family.

Once there, you will be able to enjoy seeing the 11 barracks of merit that have made it easier for man to work the land. You will also find wonderful spots on the beach and in the mountains.

You cannot miss the natural space with the hermitage of the Mare de Déu de la Roca which is attached to the red mountain of La Roca, being a place of great importance for the village, even giving its name to it.

You can reach this municipality with our line that connects Mont-Roig del Camp with Tarragona.

      5. Alt Camp

In this region you will be able to visit a location with a great variety of monuments. If your goal is to enjoy a pleasant walk and enjoy the scenery, this is an option that you cannot rule out. In Alt Camp, you can find several routes such as "Miramar, a balcony opens to the countryside", "A walk around the Jordà", "The contrasts of the plain" and "A beautiful look at the Francolí Valley".

      6. The Cistercian Route

This route is 105 km long and connects three very important monasteries in Catalonia: the monasteries of Santes Creus, Poblet and Vallbona de les Monges. Along the way, you can enjoy a variety of landscapes such as forests, farmland, towns, and villages, among others.
