BusPlana installs a new ticket vending machine at Camp de Tarragona Station

• The new machine is accessible to everyone and allows users to buy single tickets and pay with a bank card from any financial institution
• BusPlana transported nearly half a million passengers on routes connecting with Camp de Tarragona Station in 2025, a 20.24% increase compared to the previous year

BusPlana has installed a new ticket vending machine at Camp de Tarragona Station to make the ticket purchasing process easier and faster and to improve the user experience.

The new device is designed so that anyone can use it and allows the purchase of single tickets using a bank card from any institution. In addition, passengers can continue to travel using ATM transport passes or buy a single ticket directly on the bus using cash.

The new vending machine is located in the exit corridor of Camp de Tarragona Station, heading toward the bus bays, very close to the entrance to the bus platforms, ensuring visibility from any point in the corridor.

Ticket purchases can be made in five languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, and Russian.

Nearly half a million passengers at Camp de Tarragona Station

During 2025, BusPlana transported nearly half a million passengers on routes connected to Camp de Tarragona Station, a figure representing a 20.24% increase compared to 2024, when there were around 400,000 travelers.

According to a study by Rovira i Virgili University, around 40% of passengers traveling to Camp de Tarragona Station do so using BusPlana coaches, which consolidates this mode as a key element in the station’s rail connectivity with the Camp de Tarragona region.

BusPlana connects Camp de Tarragona Station with many of the main towns in the area, including Tarragona city, Valls, Reus, Cambrils, Salou, La Pineda, Vila-seca, Hotel PortAventura, Perafort, El Morell, La Pobla de Mafumet, and Constantí.
