PortAventura World at Halloween: A Truly Terrifying Experience  

PortAventura World shows us its most spine-chilling and entertaining side from September 20th to November 11th. The theme park is completely transformed, filling every corner with pumpkins, cobwebs, skeletons, witches and zombies. Its scary characters, such as Frankenstein, the Madman and the Zombie Cowboy, among many others, roam the park, ready to give you a good scare.

Every season brings surprises, and this year two new additions have been incorporated that are already considered essential.  

New for Halloween  

This year, PortAventura is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special parade at nightfall in Mediterrània: the Halloween Birthday Parade, with illuminated floats, terrifying characters and a festive atmosphere that mixes fear with celebration. It is the star show of the season and the perfect way to end the day.  

1,2,3... It's Halloween! designed especially for families and children, this show at SésamoAventura offers a Halloween full of colour, cheerful music and endearing characters. A fun way to introduce little ones to the magic of this holiday.  

The Classics that Return Every Season  

Vampires, a musical show where vampires take to the stage at the Far West Saloon. Striking choreography, red lights and a dark atmosphere that captivates the audience from the very first minute. Meanwhile, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at La Cantina pays tribute to Mexican tradition with dances, colourful costumes and songs that celebrate life and death.  

The Gran Teatro Imperial is decked out in terror with Halloween Factory, a dynamic show with dancers, acrobatics and music that will leave you speechless. Also, West Blood Frenzy, in Far West, is a performance full of humour, action and special effects in which cowboys face off against local vampires and Dracula himself.  

Don't miss the Horror on the Lake show in Mediterrània, featuring projections, music and a spine-chilling atmosphere. And for families, there's the Halloween Magic Bubble show at Chica's Magic Temple, with giant bubbles and magic.  

The Soul of Halloween at PortAventura World  

The exclusive Halloween haunted houses are the real heart of the event. They are intense, realistic experiences full of scares, designed for those who want to take adrenaline to the next level.  

Angkor, the Legend of the Cannibal King  

Although Angkor is a family attraction available all year round, it takes on a special atmosphere at Halloween. The tour invites you to discover the story of King Rajakarn, a cannibalistic tyrant whose spirit still roams the temple of Angkor.  

La Muerte Viva (The Living Dead)  

Inspired by the Day of the Dead, La Muerte Viva is one of PortAventura's most iconic haunted houses. Here, visitors enter a hacienda, where they may be surprised by catrinas, mariachis, mummies and other characters from Mexican culture.  

REC® Experience  

Inspired by the famous horror saga, REC® Experience is probably one of the most memorable passages for fans. You can immerse yourself in scenes inspired by the films, with monsters, gloomy lights and dark corridors that will make your hair stand on end. REC® Experience is not only scary but also creates the feeling of being inside the film itself, making it one of the favourite passages for the bravest visitors.  

The Cursed Island  

Located in Caribe Aquatic Park during the Halloween season, it is the longest haunted house in Europe. The tour is over a kilometre long and transports visitors to a cursed Caribbean Island inhabited by zombie pirates, sea creatures and vengeful spirits. Each area has a different setting: from sunken ships to cemeteries hidden in the jungle. The Cursed Island is an experience that combines scares, adventure and impressive scenery, recommended only for the most daring.
